FAQ

Does HOA insurance cover condo unit owners?
The association policy does not provide coverage for the personal furnishings, contents, or belongings of the unit owners. Nor does it cover the personal liability of unit owners. Each condo unit owner needs a separate condo insurance policy. It is imperative each owner purchase enough coverage to cover their own personal property, the association deductibles and Loss Assessment coverage, any improvements or betterments made after initial construction if not covered in the master Association policy, and loss of use for their unit through their owner insurance policy.
How do I find the best HOA insurance rates?
Insuring a homeowners association can be a complicated business. You should work with an insurance professional that has experience with HOAs and can access multiple insurance companies. MHS Insurance has experience and access to dozens of insurance companies.
